What would action would you have taken if a dog did this to you?

if i asked a dog to sit and it sat and i gave it a treat for doing so, that is it ... who cares where the dog wants to eat it and in the future the dog will run from you again because she ran cuz she thought you were going to take it, which you did in an aggressive manner, you reinforced her fear ... i don't think it is right for a dog to bite but i can almost see where that dog was coming from ... and why is it your job to train someone else's dog ??? if the family feeds the dog human food and the family accepts the dog is fat, and the family has gone this long with training not being an issue, mind your own business and ignore the dog ... i can tell you, i would never in a million years allow a boyfriend to manhandle or "train" my dog ... in fact any woman with self esteem would not allow you to treat their dog like that, especially after only 7 months ... it has nothing to do with mutt or purebred, it has to do with how the family has raised the dog and accepted the dogs limitations ... it is a titch arrogant to think after knowing the dog for seven months that you are going to step in and fix the dog to your liking ... if you don't like the dog, ignore it, and if you can't take it, find another girlfriend ... or get your own dog that will be perfect i am sure ...
