What should I buy with an SLR camera?

The common misconception when a person gets into photography is that they need more equipment. Photography is an art-form and the camera is just a tool that the photographer uses just like how a painter uses a brush. I'm still in the transition of thinking I need more "stuff" to get better photos. In reality, the person behind the camera needs to have the know-how, and the skills to use the equipment until you know it inside and out, then you can think about getting extras. But, excellent first DSLR, and good luck!!! Even though I'm a Nikon fan, I still have faith that the Canon will serve you well.
