Is the television series "House" an accurate depiction of a high end hospital?

Are some processes sped up? Is there more drama in it then most hospitals? Are some of the conclusions deliberately drawn out to make the process take longer, just for episode and dramatic purposes. Also if any doctor would make their own review as to how they feel about the realism of the series, that would also be appreciated.
