Do you think way too many people are being accused of child molesting?

I have two friends in different states. One was a teacher, the other a little league coach. My one friend hugged a kid at school and was accused of being a child molester. My other friend patted a kid on the when he made a home run and was also accused of this. Isn't this getting way out of hand? I mean adults did all kinds of things with me as a kid and I never thought I was molested! What do you think?
