Why are republicans guaranteeing victories for November elections?

There's been a lot of bad water under the bridge over the past two where people were willing to give Obama a fare shake and hopes that he did well. Unfortunately, he's not what everyone expected. Of course there will be some die hard Obama fans that would support him no matter what he does or for the simple obvious reason. Then you have those that would oppose him no matter what he does. Those people aren't sway-able. Then there's the ones that were caught up in the Obama moment with the economy going south and chance to make history. Well, the moment came and went and like they say, the honeymoon is now over. All of the sudden people are actually paying attention which is kind of dangerous to the progressives that think they know what's best for everyone.
