What to do about my girlfriend wanting space (a break)?

See this is so hard, but experience tells me if you love something, let it go if it comes back to you it is yours, if it never comes back it was never yours. Not that she is a possession but is she the meant to be or not to be, only time will tell, and by the way you can kiss someone when you are in love with someone else, you can do alot more too if you know what I mean and still be in love with someone else. If she finds you are the one she wants how long will you wait for her to figure that out? She should know that much at least haha tell her but no pressure.
