How are believers going to rationalise the fact that nothing happened?

Believers as in "believers in the May 21st end of the world," or "Christians?" Cause for Christians, well, the Bible states that man won't know when the end will come, so anyone who believes that they can calculate when the end of the world will be is blatantly going against scripture. It's not for us to know when the end will be. It was a miscalculation, and it wasn't a test of faith in any way. These people who are trying to predict the end of the world (I think then next one's in December 2012, right?) are wasting their time.
