Can any British teenager help me out?

I used to love these when I was like 13, I'm 17 now and wouldn't listen to them ha! But they weren't like signed artists or anything they just did it from home and posted the songs on youtube, and they just came popular because they like remixed popular songs and stuff, and guess they just have their own lives and stuff and don't have time to do that anymore. My friend met a lad on holiday and he was friends wiv dj boonie she was a girl and just did the music from home but said she didn't have time for it anymore :)
